How It Works
We would love to host you and your group for a memorable event with a purpose! Reach out to us with the date, time, and occasion for your event and we'll get you on the schedule.
We charge a flat rate for our classes and can accommodate up to 16 guests. This rate includes access to The Candle Studio for 1.5 hours, with the option to extend to 2 hours for an additional fee.
Each class includes a half hour of private shopping time in our retail space where you and your group will receive 20% off the whole store! Classes are BYOB and we will supply a bar cart, cups and a bottle opener. If you'd like to bring small snacks like charcuterie or desserts, let us know.
Your booking also includes 20 minutes of set up time prior to the start of your class. If you would like to reserve the space for additional set up (subject to a fee), please let our Candle Studio Manager know.
Our team needs a minimum of two weeks notice to schedule a private candle class, and we book classes up to 3 months in advance. There is no minimum requirement of participants to host a private class, but prices are a fixed rate. The Candle Studio can accommodate groups with up to 16 participants for Private Classes.

What is the capacity for a private event at The Candle Studio?
Our private events include up to 16 guests to take a custom candle-pouring class. No more than 16 guests are permitted in The Candle Studio for Private Classes.
What does the cost of a private event include?

Are kids allowed at The Candle Studio?
Safety is our top priority! Due to the temperature of the candle wax, Candle Studio participants must be at least 14 years of age. Children under the age of 14 are not permitted in The Candle Studio space. All candle class participants will be required to complete a waiver prior to the start of class. Any participant between the ages of 14 and 17 are welcome to participate, but we ask that they are accompanied by an adult.
Can we bring food or drinks?
Absolutely! The Candle Studio is BYOB, and we will supply cups, napkins and a bottle opener. Let us know if you would like to bring in small bites (small charcuterie boards, desserts, etc) or beverages of your choice.
If you are looking for a meal before or after your class, we have the perfect recommendations within walking distance on Magnolia Ave!
If you are bringing outside food or beverages, we encourage you to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your class start time so we can get it all set up in advance.
If you would like to reserve the space for additional set up time, please let our Candle Studio manager know. Availability is subject to other bookings and events that day and may be available for an additional charge.
What do you supply?
The Candle Studio will provide all candle pouring items needed to create your perfect candle! We will also have a bar cart with glassware, napkins, bottle opener, and an ice bucket for your beverages upon request.
What if we are running late?
We always recommend arriving between 10 - 15 minutes before your scheduled class time so we can give you the perfect amount of time to get settled, sign waivers and still have time to make your candle. Due to staffing, parties that arrive 15 minutes after their scheduled class time will be charged a $50 late fee.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that unexpected things happen! If you are no longer able to attend your private class, please notify us as soon as possible by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. To be able to receive a full refund, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Any cancellations after the 48 hours will not be refunded. If you wish to reschedule, email us at email@example.com with your name and new desired date at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your new date.
